The 16″ 1×9 Carbine 12 inch M-LOK Rail is perfect for any shooter who wants the perfect balance of performance and weight. This upper receiver is chambered in .223-5.56 and features an M4 feed ramp, making it compatible with both .223 and 5.56 ammunition. The barrel twist is 1×9 and the barrel thread is 1/2 x 28, making it compatible with a wide variety of muzzle devices and suppressors. The barrel is made from 4150 chrome molybdenum steel that has been stress relieved and Manganese phosphate coated for superior durability and corrosion resistance.
The flash hiders an A2 style, and the handguards a 12″ anodized M-LOK rail that provides plenty of real estate for attaching optics, lights, or other accessories. The gas block is a low profile gas block that ensures smooth and reliable operation. Additionally, the upper receiver is an A4 flat top upper that accepts a wide variety of scope mounts and sights. The bolt carrier group is not included, but the charging handle is not included. Also, this upper receiver has an approximate weight of 4 LBS.
