The SAIGA rifle out of the box is not compliant with magazines in excess of 10 rounds. For 922r compliance parts, you must bring the foreign parts count down to ten or less with use of a magazine in excess of 10 rounds in a SAIGA rifle. The stock SAIGA has 11 foreign parts with use of a high capacity magazine, so only one foreign part needs to be removed to stay compliant. The easiest way to make your stock SAIGA rifle compliant with high capacity magazines is to change out the gas piston, forearm, or buttstock.
